We’re looking for someone like you to help develop, implement, and maintain customer-focused IT solutions in support of our warfighters.

As a cyber engineer on our team, you’ll collaborate to develop innovative solutions to enable secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer systems.

You’ll work individually or in a small integrated team, and may also lead a task, project, or team. You’ll ensure project completion and provide guidance and direction to lower-level technicians, specialists, and managers.

You’ll develop new concepts and processes, analyze root causes, and resolve complex issues using your full knowledge of industry.

You'll perform systems administration of cyber toolsets and server systems connected to networks across multiple classification domains.

You'll provide support to developmental and operational systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client, server, storage, and network devices.

You'll configure and manage Windows, UNIX, and Linux and install and load operating system and application software, including Host-based Security System, Endpoint Security Suite (ESS), Splunk, Cribl, and ACAS, and network security tools, including Firewalls and ForeScout.

You’ll support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration.

You Have :

5+ years of experience as a systems administrator

Experience with installing, configuring, or maintaining devices, applications, and security tools, including DoD Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) formerly (HBSS), Trellix and FireEye tools

Experience with automating aspects of cybersecurity tools operations, including deployments or configuration management

Active TS / SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, Associate’s degree and 10+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience with supporting IT projects and activities

DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND

Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND, within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have :

Experience with operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers

Experience as a network administrator or systems engineer

Experience with scripting in PowerShell and BASH command line interfaces

Experience with using Active Directory to manage Windows policies

Experience with creating system and network diagrams

Knowledge of different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

TS / SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
