IT Report Writer III
The Report Writer III, working under the Application Services Manager, is a key leader in reporting efforts, responsible for driving strategic initiatives, providing expert guidance, and delivering high-impact reports that drive decision making and organizational success, that actively contributes to the Goshen Health culture and values.
A Report Writer III must know the value of the data, where it is coming from, how to get at or extract it, how to clean it, and how to verify that it is accurate.
The Report Writer III is responsible for generating high complex reports, data files, queries, and highly complex SQL statements using Meditech tools (NPR, M-AT, RD and DR), Crystal Report Writer, Microsoft Access, Micro Strategy, or other 3rd party reporting tools.
Reconciles discrepancies between the expectations of management requests and information presented in reports and files;
Validates and proves to the decision managers that the data presented is valid and accurate. Works with Colleagues and representatives from all departments to gather requirements, develop innovative reporting solutions, optimizes report performance, and delivers accurate and actionable insights that drive organizational success.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Services, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Engineering, etc.
7 years of related experience in healthcare technology may be substituted for some or all education.
Preferred Education : Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Services, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Engineering, etc.).
Minimum Experience : Seven years of experience in Information Technology.
Preferred Experience : Ten years in Information Technology with at least five years in a directly related position.
