MEP firm in metro Atlanta is looking to hire an experienced Electrical Design Engineer.
Summary :
The Electrical Designer will be capable of designing and documenting electrical systems for a variety of project types including medical facilities, office buildings, retail and multi- family projects.
The Electrical Designer will coordinate design components with a multi- disciplinary team.
Job responsibilities will include :
- Electrical designs will include power distribution, lighting and lighting controls systems, and various low voltage systems
- Candidate experience should include some familiarity with design of power and lighting for commercial projects.
- Preparing CAD / REVIT generated construction drawings and specifications
- Performing submittal / shop drawing reviews and production
- Meeting / webinars with clients to coordinate designs
- Meeting with vendors to specify appropriate equipment
- Managing and delivering revisions
- Responding to RFI's
- Conducting construction site reviews (as required)
Required :
- 2 plus years as an Electrical Engineer generating construction drawings and specification for commercial projects.
- Revit Proficiency
Preferred :
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (highly preferred)
Location : Duluth, GA
Duration : Temp-to-hire
Pay : $32-$38 / hr.
