BCforward is currently seeking an Content Writer 2 in Redmond, WA 98052 (Remote )
Position Title : Content Writer 2
Location : Redmond, WA 98052 -Remote(Remote any - need time zone flexibility - team is spread between PST, Barcelona (Spain) and India)
Anticipated Start Date : ASAP

Job Type : CONTRACT Onsite
Pay Range : $40 - $42

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience with building documentation that is legally compliant.
- Minimum 2 years experience with sharepoint publishing.
- Minimum 3 years experience with writing for a legal / regulatory audience.
Experience Working On Regulatory Documents is must
Description :
The main function of a Content Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions.
A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.
We need a content writer / developer to partner with our existing team to improve our policy, and process documentation.
This will serve both internal and external audiences.
Job Responsibilities :
- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or english, journalism, communications
- 2-4 years experience required
- Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Ability to read some programming code and understand legal language
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
