Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a focus on consumer banking to lead and manage technical initiatives within our banking organization.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer banking products, processes, and technologies, combined with strong project management skills and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

This role requires the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and ensure the timely and efficient execution of projects to support our consumer banking objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects related to consumer banking, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Manage project resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and consultants, to ensure effective utilization and allocation of resources.
  • Drive the development and implementation of innovative technical solutions to enhance consumer banking products and services, improve customer experience, and drive business growth.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and best practices in consumer banking, and work closely with compliance and risk management teams to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team, promoting knowledge sharing, skills development, and teamwork.
  • Track project budget, expenses, and resource utilization, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement, capture best practices, and incorporate feedback into future projects.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in the consumer banking industry, with a strong understanding of consumer banking products, processes, and technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion, with a focus on delivering business value and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource management.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, and Jira.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in consumer banking, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and PSD2.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
