CNC Machinist / Programmer
Job Description Summary
AAM Metal Forming located in Royal Oak, is looking for an experienced CNC Lathes Programmer / Operator to join our team.
This is a afternoon (2nd) shift position. Currently, we are offering a $1,000 sign-bonus. Associate will receive the sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.
Job Description
- At least five years of conversational CNC programming experience (Mazatrol preferred), as well as five or more years of setting up and operating lathes.
- Experience with Blueprints and GD&T, a tolerance of + / -.001
- The ability to design a program independently.
- Experience machining hardened tool steel preferred.
- The ability to pass a background check and a drug test is required.
Required Skills and Education
- Required eight (8) years of documented experience or UAW Journeyman card.
- High School / GED
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Shop Math Skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
