Summary of Job
Pioneer is seeking a skilled QC Inspector who will be responsible to gradually learning all quality control processes, and take on more responsibilities as you master each task.
Our QC inspectors are the lifeline to meeting customers' demands and delivering quality products on Time. We are seeking an experienced QC inspector to join our dynamic team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving inspections of incoming products for repair and raw materials for new manufacture products.
- Complete measurement and documentation of critical dimensions
- Completing quality reports for internal use and final reports to end customer
- Aiding in disassembly of repair products and documenting with photos
- In-Process inspections and measurements either on a stationary table or setup in a machine tool.
- Final Inspections (including assembly of finished components) to ensure proper fit-up per customer requirements.
- Final QA documentation packet including all inspection reports, NDE, and photos
Skills Required
We seek a self-motivated individual who can take charge of all Quality inspection requirements without constant supervision.
Working knowledge and responsibilities include :
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Ability to interpret, comprehend, and communicate complex specifications
- Experience working with complex bill of materials
- Complete competence in the use of various measuring and testing equipment such as outside / inside diameter micrometers, calipers, depth mics, dial indicators, and other hand measuring tools Only (no computerized measuring CMM)
- Ability to multitask and maintain focus and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Education / Training Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of previous manufacturing and / or fabrication QC experience
- HS diploma or GED
- Background in NDE disciplines (UT, PT, MT)
- Machining background a plus
- ISO, AS9100, CMMC background a plus
Physical Requirements :
The requirements listed below are examples of the conditions, skills, and abilities needed to perform the necessary tasks of this position.
- Indoor environments in climate controlled facility with occasional office work inside quality lab.
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
- Stoop, bend, crawl, reach, stand, and walk frequently.
- Must be able to see small items and grasp and hold small items.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, hear, concentrate, and comprehend complex data.
