As as a warehouse attendant, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring the efficient functioning of the warehouse.
The role emphasizes maintaining a clean and safe working environment, optimizing space usage, and conducting regular cycle audits for inventory accuracy.
Additionally, your role extends beyond warehouse logistics to encompass excellent customer service, particularly in assisting technicians.
Your support in efficiently preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, as well as delivering materials to job sites, contributes directly to the success of our team.
Essential Job Functions
- Manages the shipment of all products, materials and supplies.
- Tracks, traces and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Receive and process warehouse inventory with forklift or pallet jack
- Deliver inventory / materials to job sites as needed
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
- Sorts and stocks receivables
- Sorts, stages and coordinates material and equipment returns to venders.
- Coordinates and assists with vehicle fleet maintenance.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves and updates inventory in computer system
- Cycle counts and keeps track of materials and inventory.
- Collaborates and communicates with technicians, project managers and others involved in the ordering or materials and equipment.
- General warehouse cleaning / maintenance
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 -2 years of warehouse experience preferred, but not required
- OSHA Certificate preferred, but not required.
- Current forklift license preferred
Working Conditions
Environment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
- Will work both indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold to very hot and humid.
- Evening and / or early morning, and / or weekend hours periodically
