RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge) - Kansas City, MO
Salary : $35.65 - $47.64 / hr + Shift Differentials : $4.00 / hr for Nights & Weekends
Join Our Team at The Medical Center : Seeking experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinators for multiple units including Med-Surg, Ortho / Trauma, NICU, and Inpatient Oncology.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Shifts Available : Nights & Weekend options (7p-7a and 7a-7p Rotating Weekends)
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions during your designated shift.
- Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care quality and collaborate with other management team members.
- Support and engage in initiatives to improve patient engagement and service, ensuring efficient patient throughput.
- Lead your team, providing recommendations on staff management including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications :
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Must have 2+ years of clinical practice in a specific unit and leadership / management experience, preferably in a Level I Trauma center.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri or hold an active compact license.
