Job Description
The University of Mount Saint Vincent (UMSV) is seeking candidates for clinical teaching opportunities at our clinical facilities for our Bronx and Long Island City campus locations.
The Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor is responsible for instructing Nursing students during their onsite clinical experience.
Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to effectively provide clinical instruction and evaluation of Nursing students in one or more of the following clinical areas :
- Pediatric
- Maternity
- Medical Surgical Nursing
- Psychiatric Behavioral Health
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- An unencumbered RN license in New York State
- Strong interpersonal, public speaking and writing skills
- Past experience with teaching students or in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems, and work independently
- Ability to represent the University in a professional manner
- Ability to work with confidential information and exercise discretion
- Ability to effectively collaborate with faculty, staff and leadership
Benefits
The allotted salary for this position is $75 per hour.
