We are a first-in-the-nation assisted living / memory care public housing development designed for seniors needing enhanced assistance.

Thomas Feeney Manor, a 48-unit development designed for seniors needing enhanced assisted living or memory care assistance, is hiring hardworking, passionate Caregivers (Home Health Aides or Certified Nursing Assistants) to join our team! In this role, you will provide personal care and supportive services to residents to maintain their comfort and safety.

There are Full-Time and Part-Time, benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend.

Full-Time Shifts : Days (6 : 00am to 2 : 00pm), 72 hours per 2 week pay period.

Part-Time Shifts : Days (7 : 00am to 1 : 00pm), 32 hours per 2 week pay period and Evenings (4 : 00pm to 9 : 00pm), 48 hours per 2 week pay period.

Caregiver responsibilities :

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following : shampooing of hair, assist with showering / bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver skills and requirements :

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!
• Strong interest in healthcare.
• Positive, compassionate attitude.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
