Details :
- Position Type : Full-Time; Contract
- Caseload : 1 : 1 with K -8th grade students
- Pay range : $18+ / hr; based on experience
Responsibilities :
- Support students during mealtime, including feeding and ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
- Help students with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individualized care plans.
- Foster a nurturing and respectful environment that promotes students' independence and dignity.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and activities.
Qualifications :
- Completed 60 credits, associates degree or Paraprofessional certificate active
- Experience working with individuals with special needs or in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to the well-being of student
COMPENSATION :
Negotiable and competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
W2 employee contract for the 2024school year, with renewals available for a great fit
Paid for all hours worked and weekly pay
