The Law Enforcement Officer prevents criminal activity, disturbances and other unwanted incidents from occurring at the facility
Education
Required : Successful graduation from accredited police academy
Experience
Required : Active Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) in good standing with their department, Former LEO who left their department in good standing.
Certifications
Required : Officer must me up to date in all state certifications as required by local police department policy

Provides protective service to employees, patients, physicians, and visitors including security escorts. Provides surveillance of employees going to and from parking areas during shift change.
Secures buildings. Unlocks / locks offices. Patrols assigned areas on foot. Assists nursing and medical staff with difficult patients or visitors.
Assists medical staff with ensuring patient safety. Responds to emergency alarms, code blues, and other calls for emergency assistance.
Enforces hospital policies. Prepares routine activity reports and preliminary Investigative Reports. Assists, with the city, state, and federal law agencies as required.
Education :
