Job Posting : Full-Time Special Education Teacher in Providence, RI
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position in Providence.
Join our team and make a significant impact in a school-based setting, working with students who have diverse learning needs.
Candidates must meet all requirements set by local and state regulations, including a Bachelor s degree in education, a master s or doctorate in special education, and an active special education teaching license.
Experience with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Job Duties :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring that their unique learning needs are met.
- Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving academic goals.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor students progress and make data-informed instructional decisions.
- Foster positive relationships with students, addressing behavioral and social-emotional needs as part of a comprehensive approach to education.
