As an Education Program Coordinator I in the Cardiovascular Center you will coordinate department educational program(s) by scheduling events, assembling enrollment and education information, and following compliance guidelines, under general supervision.
Support education objectives by tracking and communicating information related to education programs. This role also involves assisting in the development of education materials per institution requirements.
Primary Functions
- Collaborate on the development of materials including education materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports.
- Collaborate to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases related to educational and research programs within the Center.
- Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines for program components.
- Maintain working understanding of accreditation, board, and institutional requirements. Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance for graduate course.
- May monitor program budgets.
- Assist with internal grants administration for trainees.
- Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
- Conduct or coordinate training for faculty and trainees.
- Coordinate recruitment and coordination of instructors and speakers for trainee seminars, events (such as Postdoctoral Appreciation Week, CVC Research Retreat), mentor education, special conferences, and the graduate course managed by the Cardiovascular Center.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate program data including reporting program data and progress to program stakeholders.
- Create brochures, flyers, handbooks, and other educational materials.
- Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities for the graduate course, trainee seminars, and other events.
- Provide information, support, and problem solving for leaders, faculty, and staff.
- Implement institutional or program activities (, educational events, training, orientation, schedules).
- Assist Program Manager with quarterly center newsletter, monthly funding newsletter, monthly trainee digest, and monthly trainee newsletter.
