Selectek is a Senior CAD Technician focused on civil drafting for a partnering company near Bradenton, Florida. This firm focuses on civil engineering services for municipal and private developments, and potential candidates will be heavily involved in coastal land development design .

Location : Bradenton, Florida
Expected Pay Range : $75,000-$90,000 dependent on experience and certifications / skill level
Schedule : Flexible start times, with core hours being Monday Friday, 9 : 00a 3 : 00p. This firm offers a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days working from home after completing the onboarding and orientation period.
Job Requirements :
- 8+ years of design experience
- Associate’s degree in CAD Drafting / Engineering Technology
- Experience with coastal engineering development design including seawall design, beach nourishment, coastal structures and restoration, drainage, and flood control
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D , with experience in 3D modeling considered a plus
- Ideal candidates are also experienced with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties :
- Lead the CAD drafting and modeling of site, civil, coastal, and other land development projects
- Help develop and implement CAD design standards and workflows for the company
- Produce construction documents including permit drawings, presentation graphics, and as-built surveys
- Work with city, county, and government agencies to streamline the permitting process
- Mentor other technicians
- Review new technology for the company
