Our client, in Ada, MI is seeking a HVAC Mechanicto join their team. As a HVAC Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activitieson a variety of HVAC systems.
Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of the HVAC equipment.
Job Title : HVAC Mechanic
Location : Ada, MI
Pay Range : $30 - $35 / hr depending on experience
Shifts : 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift available, Monday through Friday
Whats the Job?
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspecting, cleaning, and servicing components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identifying, and implementing effective solutions.
- Repair or replace defective components, such as fans, motors, compressors, and electrical controls.
- Conduct system performance tests and adjustments to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work completed.
Whats Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an HVAC Mechanic or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
