Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position in Mount Prospect, IL
Job Description : We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mount Prospect, IL.
This role is vital for providing specialized speech therapy services in a school setting, helping students enhance their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and adaptive professional with a deep understanding of speech therapy practices in a school setting.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and execute tailored therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students educational goals and language development.
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting therapy techniques as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Illinois SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and educate.
