RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation & Appointment Booking
- Engage in external marketing, promotions, and prospecting, including off-site promotions and building relationships with local businesses to generate leads
- Utilize internal marketing strategies to collect leads from current members through relationship-building and referral initiatives
- Meet or exceed monthly appointment goals and ensure appointments translate into guest visits
- Drive membership sales through productive phone activities
Guest Touring, Membership Presentations, & Personal Production
- Conduct fitness tours for all guests, ensuring each is presented with membership options according to company guidelines
- Utilize approved sales presentations to enroll new members and meet personal sales goals
- Attach private coaching packages to 20% or more of new member enrollments
Customer Service
- Follow up with newly enrolled members to ensure satisfaction and exceed expectations
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with guests
- Assist in maintaining a clean and operational facility
- Address and resolve member concerns and complaints professionally
Facility Operations
- Monitor club facilities and equipment, resolving or escalating issues promptly
- Manage inventory receiving and control activities according to company guidelines
- Collect dues and address past-due accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Optimize retail merchandising and display according to company standards
- Supervise point-of-sales operations and maintain accurate revenue reports
Miscellaneous
- Adhere to set schedules and attend mandatory meetings
- Follow uniform policy guidelines
- Record time worked accurately and adhere to company timekeeping policies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in sales practices and techniques
- General understanding of the fitness industry
- Computer literacy
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Minimum Experience
- 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in fitness or service (auto, real estate, hospitality, etc) sales
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, with managerial experience preferred
- Experience in health clubs or the hospitality industry is advantageous
Minimum Certifications / Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as : business, sales, marketing, health & fitness
- Current CPR / AED certification (opportunities to obtain this in first week of employment)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours a day
- Ability to take UFC Gym Classes
- Ability to lift and carry 20-30lbs
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive when necessary
