Job Title : Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Description

The Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for repair and maintenance of all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds.

This role involves a 60 / 40 mechanical vs electrical split. Technicians will troubleshoot pumps, valves, relief valves, hoses, cylinders, conveyor belts, chains, and motors.

They will also troubleshoot VFDs, transformers, 480v, 240 single, and 3-phase electrical systems. Additional duties include running conduit and wire, observing mechanical devices in operation, dismantling devices to access and remove defective parts, inspecting used parts, adjusting functional parts, repairing or replacing defective parts, lubricating and cleaning machines, and starting machines to test their performance.

Technicians will also repair electrical equipment and control systems, maintain records, conduct plant-wide safety checks, complete maintenance request forms, perform preventive maintenance, follow safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations, complete requisitions for maintenance items, ensure timely completion of repairs, and perform lockout / tagout procedures.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Clyde, Ohio.

Work Environment

This is a non-climate controlled environment. There is 1 opening on 3rd shift. The shifts are Monday through Friday, with Saturdays currently required.

The hours are 11 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am. The second and third shifts offer a $2 shift differential.
