Job Description : Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in League City, TX, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders among students, collaborating closely with educators and families to enhance communication skills.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Requirements :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Previous experience in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
State-Specific Requirements :
- Must hold or be eligible for Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Compliance with Texas Department of Education regulations for school-based SLPs, including background checks.
