About The Position

• Shift Schedule : Mon-Fri; 8a-5p (1-hr lunch break)
• No Weekends, No Holidays, No On-call duty
• Minimum of 3 months with option to extend
• Patient Demographics : Adult and Geriatric
• Patient Volume : 40-45 cases per day
• Case Mix :
• Acute and Chronic
• Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
• Duties :
• Orders diagnostic / therapeutic tests and procedures
• Ability to provide cross coverage
• Monitors patients’ progress
• Comfortable working on admissions work up and potential rapid turnover
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Job Requirements

Requirements :

• Active VA License
• BC / BE in FM or IM
• 3+ more years as a Physician / Practitioner
• Strong experience working with patients having Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
