We have an opening for a Production Supervisor at our Franklin Park, IL manufacturing facility. In this role you will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing the effective utilization of people, materials, equipment and manufacturing processes to meet safety, production schedule, quality, inventory, cost and delivery objectives.
Responsibilities include :
- Train, evaluate and coach staff.
- Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, quality and costs.
- Prepare required reports and maintains data in SAP concerning department activities.
- Ensure conformance to safety rules and regulations, and employee rules of conduct.
- Review schedule for production needs and accuracy.
- Produce quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality standards.
- Ensure productivity targets are met and develops corrective action plans when needed.
- Engage with local suppliers to identify and remove operation barriers for standard and non-standard production processes.
Qualifications :
- 1+ Years Experience in Manufacturing Environment, or related education.
- 3+ Years Supervisory Experience
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Working knowledge of material, tooling, machine tools and manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of safety management processes.
