Responsibilities of the Property Accountant :
- Manage full-cycle accounting for a mixed portfolio, including commercial, retail, and multi-family properties.
- Perform monthly close procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and conduct variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget, audit schedules, and financial reports.
- Manage fixed assets, including capitalization and depreciation.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-4 years of experience, preferably in multi-family or commercial real estate accounting.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to grow professionally.
