Looking for Elementary Teachers to Join Our Team!
Since 1883, Visitation BVM School has served as a beacon of hope for the Kensington community. For the 2024- 2025 school year, we are looking to fill elementary teaching positions at ALL LEVELS.

Responsibilities of Teachers :
Follow PA Common Core Curriculum
Create lessons to meet the needs of all students
Prepare lesson materials, grade tests and projects, establish classroom behavior management systems, and evaluate student progress
Exercise open and respectful communication with students, families, co-workers, administrators, and other school staff
Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required
Attend conferences and workshops in order to advance professional development
Manage student behavior in accordance with school policies
Provide a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and in the school community
Ability to build relationships effectively and professionally with families + students
Proven ability to maintain a safe and studious classroom environment

Qualifications of Teachers is a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
Salary : We follow the guidelines set by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for years of experience
