Job Description :
Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Project Managers to join their Land Development team at their Melville, NY office.
This role will involve leading a variety of site / civil design and permitting projects, including residential, multi-family, commercial, industrial, and retail developments.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the design, permitting, and construction of comprehensive site / civil plans and specifications
Develop effective site planning, grading, and drainage solutions for diverse project types
Ensure compliance with local permitting regulations and coordinate with relevant agencies
Lead client and contractor communications, preparing detailed project proposals
Supervise, mentor, and manage staff, supporting their professional development
Oversee project finances, including billing and collections, ensuring project profitability
Utilize AutoCAD and Civil3D for design and project modeling
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience in site / civil design and land development
Familiarity with local permitting agencies and regulations (preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven organizational and leadership abilities
Experience in managing teams and staff training
