Warehouse Associate - Shipping / Receiving / Order Puller Job Summary
This is a full-time hourly position. Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm and (2) Saturdays per month (Overtime) 9am-1pm
Working as a Warehouse Associate you may perform one or more of the duties listed below :
Shipping Essential Functions
- Pull, prepare, and pack orders for delivery.
- Quick, accurate and safe packaging.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Order Pulling Essential Functions
- Pick / pull parts according to the tickets
- Accuracy : ensure that the correct parts and quantities are being pulled
- Speed : ensure that each order is shipped the day it is received
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Receiving Essential Functions
- Assist with unloading and moving pallets with a pallet jack
- Receive inventory into our system that is delivered daily
- Accurately identify, label, and stock our inventory
- Keep a clean, safe and organized working environment
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements :
Key skills and competencies of the position include, but are not limited to :
- Ability to work in a fast paced, warehouse environment.
- Need to be dependable and on time.
- Seeing to read and review material for accuracy.
- Hearing and speaking to exchange information with co-workers.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Attention to detail.
- Willing to work in cold or hot warehouse.
