Location : Hybrid; once weekly in Morrisville, NC office

We are searching for a highly motivated Escalation Engineering Team Leader (Tier-IV) to join our growing team! The Escalation Engineering Team Leader must learn fast and adapt to quickly changing technology and lead a team that provides top-tier Engineering solutions for our product line.

You will be leading a team of highly qualified Escalation Engineers who work on researching solutions to complex product issues involving the customers’ environment, designing and implementing solutions, providing training, advising on usage, and advanced troubleshooting.

It’s required that you will also be hands-on and be able to assist the team’s work.

Work will include providing timely engineering solutions, acting as a field-engineering delegate - coordinating and pushing efforts and driving forward various engagements with our development, support, QA, and sales teams.

The Responsibilities :

  • Lead 5-7 engineers in an agile environment
  • Provide expert-level technical support for our products
  • Analyze, diagnose, and debug complex customer issues
  • Create and implement patches, fixes, and diagnostic tools
  • Take ownership of escalations and drive towards resolution
  • Act as a technical focal point in cooperative relationships with other internal groups
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Coordinate with other engineers from various product components to deliver success
  • Acquire both broad and in-depth product knowledge
  • Create and improve documentation to train support engineers to resolve support cases
  • Coordinate with other engineers from various product components to deliver success

The Requirements :

The core competencies for this position include :

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent from known university
  • At least 3 years leading development teams
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing Enterprise-level, Python Applications.
  • Working with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Microservices Advantages
  • Asynchronous programming and experience in developing performance-critical applications
  • Experience with Machine Learning Advantages
  • Experience with multi-threaded applications
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
