This position is intended for CRMC-Belmont but you will remain in your current position until confirmed by the manager at an appropriate date to allow for adequate orientation / training.
CaroMont Health is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse to work the Night shifts within our Labor & Delivery Unit (L&D) team at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Belmont, NC-Opening in Fall 2024!
Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities :
- To render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital.
- Collaborates with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care.
- Performs all activities in accordance with approved policies and guides.
- Supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillary personnel.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). BSN preferred; professional nursing certification preferred.
- Recent acute care experience within past 3 years preferred.
- Meets general hospital and departmental competency requirements.
- Current technical certificates such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) , Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) as required by specialty area.
