Are you interested in an Intern opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and / or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid internship opportunities at our site in Plymouth, MN.
Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in engineering at a medical device company.
Your role
Ensure the safety and quality of the devices manufactured in our facility meets our customer and patient needs.
- Assisting in research and development activities associated with new product development and sustaining.
- Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success
- Making data driven decisions using appropriate analytical methodologies
- Verifying that designs meet functional requirements through the performance of engineering analyses and testing.
- Establishing test methods, acceptance criteria, and test equipment for all stages of product development.
- Writing test protocols, analyzing data, and documenting findings in test reports.
You're the right fit if
- Completed at least 75% of studies in bachelor’s in mechanical, biomedical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Desire to understand and communicate how product is used, designed and manufactured and establish test methods to evaluate design concepts.
- Detail oriented, highly organized and be able to communicate information effectively.
- Ability to multitask, take ownership, and collaborate cross functionally with others.
- Experience using SolidWorks, Excel, and Minitab
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $28.00, plus overtime eligible.The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge / skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Company relocation benefits be provided for this position.For this position, you must reside in within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN .
