Accounting Administrative Assistant - Detroit, MI
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our client's finance team. This entry-level role involves invoice data entry, scanning, filing, and other ad-hoc tasks.
It's a great opportunity for someone starting their accounting career or wanting to learn new skills.
Accounting Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
- Enter invoices and financial data accurately.
- Scan and file documents (both digital and physical).
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as report preparation and payment processing.
- Keep financial records organized and accessible.
- Communicate with departments or vendors to resolve discrepancies.
Accounting Administrative Assistant Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college a plus
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles a plus but not required..
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
