We are currently looking for a material handler candidate in the area of Garland, Tx.
Shift : 8am - 5pm with overtime available
Pay : $17
Duties :
- Must have Toyota Reach truck experience because you will be locating materials by pulling and verifying them on the shipping orders.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying pulling, packing, and securing products; including sealing boxes, shrink wrapping large orders, preparation of shipment labels for customer addresses and affixes, weighting and packaging freight orders, skid orders, transfers, distribution orders, and export orders.
- Prepared processed packages for either small parcels, freight shipments, or customer pick-up
- Verification on all orders for accuracy; record serial numbers and lot number items being shipped.
- Document product shipment by recording units shipped; notify the supervisor of incomplete orders.
- Clean and organize warehouse at the end of each shift; secure warehouse end of the day.
- Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
- Performance of other duties as assigned by the manager.
