We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the Texarkana, TX area for immediate employment.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with previous experience in the manufacturing industry who can adjust, install, maintain, and repair all equipment, machinery, and plant facilities.
Essential Skills Required :
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for applying technical skills, knowledge, and experience to implement and / or repair :
a. Electrical
b. Pipe Fitting & Plumbing
c. Welding
d. Hydraulic
e. Pneumatics
f. Automatic Equipment Operation (setup, repair, and rear down)
g. Must know Shop Mathematics
h. Interpret Drawings
i. Read and Understand Schematics
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Electrical
- Pneumatics
- Machine installation and start-up
- Troubleshooting skills
- 4+ years of manufacturing / operations maintenance experience.
- Self-motivated and disciplined team player.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual English / Spanish a plus
- Must be a Team Oriented Person
- Detail-oriented, conscientious and able to work independently.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive approach and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle exposure to temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment. Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long period of time.
- Forklift experience preferred
