The purpose of the Recruiting Manager is to attract and retain qualified candidates for open positions at The Resort at Paws Up.

The Recruiting Manager is responsible to develop recruiting strategies in support of organizational staffing objectives and execute recruiting strategies to deliver suitable job candidates for open positions.

The Primary Functions are :

  • Consult with hiring managers to identify recruiting needs to develop effective recruiting plans and strategies.
  • Source applicants through various methods including LinkedIn, social media, advertising, job sites, career fairs, etc.
  • Oversee US sponsor agency relationships for the recruitment of international visa programs.
  • Maintain relationships with professional networks to source qualified candidates.
  • Organize and execute recruitment programs and partnerships with colleges, universities, culinary institutes.
  • Assist in development of internship program partnerships with hospitality focused programs at colleges and universities.
  • Continuously research and create new tactics for recruitment.
  • Review resumes and qualifications to determine suitability of candidates.
  • Make recommendations to the hiring managers and directors.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with hiring managers.
  • Inform candidates fully about the job and company.
  • Assist in conducting background checks for candidates.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to managers on the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Manage applicant tracking system.
  • Maintain accurate and current applicant database.
  • Extend offers of employment within company procedures.
  • Manage the job offer including negotiation and administration.
  • Create job descriptions and update as needed; Review and clarify job specifications, competencies and skills required.
  • Ensure a regulatory aspect of the full cycle recruitment process is compliant with federal and state legislation.

Looking for Team Members with :

  • Two+ years of recruiting experience in the hospitality industry; Experience in sourcing qualified applicants in management roles.
  • Experience staffing a seasonal resort preferred.
  • Experience with J1, TN, H2B visa a plus.
  • 2+ years working in an Application Tracking System (ATS) or Human Capitol Management (HCM ) software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, and or related field, and / or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
  • Adaptable to high volume workload during peak seasons
  • Has a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands
  • Knowledge of world class hospitality and service management
  • Valid State Driver’s License
