The Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) Command Center is looking for a Director of Strategic Delivery who holds a high bar for well managed project management and pushes the team to employ creative problem solving to help our business stakeholders get to yes .
The BC&P Command Center wants to tall to you if you have a bias towards action and are excited by the opportunity to take an existing project management function to the next level.
Specifically, the Strategic Delivery team is focused on :
Leading and developing a team of project management professionals
Management of a delivery framework that executives effectively on cross functional business intent
Well managed delivery of division level initiatives (DLI) and enterprise wide initiatives (EWI)
Building a change management mindset across the Strategic Delivery team
Co-owner of BC&P strategic planning, prioritization, and OKR processes
As a horizontal leader and subject matter expert, the Director of Strategic Delivery will collaborate with smart and passionate leaders to influence goals and results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line.
This role requires a well-rounded and seasoned individual who is comfortable adjusting their approach to meet unique needs across multiple stakeholder groups within a complex organization.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of program management, strategic planning, change management and infrastructure implementation;
change resiliency to maintain momentum in a dynamic, fast-paced and complex environment and among competing priorities; strong partnership and communication skills to engage and influence critical stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, who is capable of driving transformational change and delivering game-changing value.
The preferred candidate will have experience working in Project Management, Program Management Office or Chief of Staff organizations within a major financial company.
This is a critical role with high visibility across the BC&P organization and partner organizations.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to :
Lead and develop a team that is delivering complex intent
Designing and producing metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness
Driving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes
Collaborating with partners to improve processes and to deliver better experiences
Leverage data and customer insights to identify opportunities to drive significant improvements to the customer experience and to drive efficiencies
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Cross functional stakeholder leadership, engaging teams from across BC&P and the company to help drive results
Partnering cross-functionally with program customers to provide strategic and tactical thought-partnership to effectively drive delivery
Providing strategic direction to project teams, peers, and stakeholders to drive results, solve problems, and influence outcomes
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of Project Management or Chief of Staff experience
At least 3 years of People Leadership experience
At least 3 years of Financial Services industry experience
Preferred Qualifications :
3+ years of Change Management experience
3+ years of Corporate Management Consulting experience
Master's Degree or MBA Degree
Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
