Overview

The role of Employee Health Coordinator at the Hebrew Home at Riverdale by RiverSpring Living, a world-renowned long-term care organization located in Riverdale - North Bronx, overseas and is responsible for conducting adequate employee health assessments (examination, review of pertinent medical history and immunization upon initial hire and annually thereafter).

Responsibilities

The Employee Health Coordinator shall conduct adequate employee health assessments (examination, review of pertinent medical history and immunization upon initial hire and annually thereafter).

Shall manage data collection of results of covid-19 testing. Shall provide influenza, covid-19, pneumococcal, MMR, and Hep B vaccinations as needed and maintain records of same.

Review of employee health examination record completed by the employee, for completeness and accuracy. Obtain additional history as appropriate.

Assesses employee’s status re : immunization (Covid-19, Hepatitis B, varicella, influenza and MMR) and appropriate follow-up.

Maintains accurate medical record information for all employees.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully you must be a NY Licensed Practical Nurse. Experience in Occupational Health is a plus.

Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Have the ability to speak effectively before groups or customers, and employees of the organization. Basic computer skills-must be able to utilize Microsoft word, Excel, EMR.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw / interpret bar graphs and charts.

Compensation : $70,000 min. to $78,000 max. Annually
