Job Duties Include but are not limited to :

The TWC team will be responsible for arriving and departing trailers, performing yard audits, directing, and assisting drivers, including those from outside carriers, inspecting trailers upon arrival and before departure, and providing on-site support.

• Dispatchers need to be proficient with computers. We use the following programs :
• Yard Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and
• Microsoft Team's.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to overcome day to day issues with trailer movements and other issues that may arise during shift.
• Data Entry
• Driver Time Management skills is a must to keep Driver Productivity high and Idle Time low.
• Good communication skills using 2-way radio, phone, messenger, and email.
• Dispatchers are the first people our customers reach out to for moves or issues.
• Problem solving skills.
• Transportation knowledge preferred.
• Pick up paperwork daily, sort, and file.
• Keep DVIR's in order, box up old paperwork to start the new month, keep employee files up to date and confidential, keep truck and trailer files updated.
• Close out loads daily in McLeod.
• Schedule appointments in OTM.
• Must have computer knowledge to learn the YMS PINC.
