Commercial Analyst
Hybrid working role (50 / 50 spilt between office and home so must live within half an hour commute from NG19 7AE)
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
£25,000- £30,000 p.a. based on experience.
Role Purpose :
The Commercial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing and account management efforts for our largest e-commerce retail customers.
This position is key to ensuring the successful execution of our commercial strategies, driving sales growth, and maintaining strong relationships with our largest customers.
The Commercial Analyst will work closely with various internal teams, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to drive profitable growth with our largest customers.
What Does Success Look Like in This Role?
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets for our largest e-commerce retail customers.
- Developing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with key customers.
- Delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations that drive profitable business growth.
- Efficiently managing and analysing data to inform marketing and sales strategies.
- Successfully executing marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth with key e-commerce retail customers.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on sales performance trends.
- Support the development of product listings, ensuring accuracy and optimisation for online platforms.
- Monitor product listings on customer websites to identify and fix any issues or errors.
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgeting processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of e-commerce trends, tools, and best practices.
Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, or other BI tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for driving business success through data-driven decision-making.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Working Conditions :
- Office environment with potential for remote work arrangements.
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and industry conferences.
