Founded in 1990, National Underground Group’s Tri-State Utilities division provides pipeline rehabilitation of sewers and storm drains using trenchless pipelining technologies, including the cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) process and other industry-leading technologies.
Tri-State clients include municipalities, federal agencies and their partner engineers, and general contractors. Additional Tri-State services include pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, smoke, and dye testing, grouting and HDPE sliplining.
The company’s field workers bring years of experience and industry knowledge to each job, allowing Tri-State to deliver high-quality results to customers each day.
Maintaining quality control from planning through wet-out and field installation is Tri-State’s goal.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Learning and operating of truck mounted Boilers for curing of CIPP Liners for Lining operations on various types of pipelines.
Assist with installation of CIPP liners, and reinstatement of sewer service laterals
Set up of CIPP Equipment. (Hoses, Inverters, Traffic control and equipment directly associated with installation of CIPP Liners.
Travel is expected (per diem and hotels provided by TSU)
Perform miscellaneous related duties and carry out special projects as assigned.
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
Ability to work long days on your feet.
Ability to work inside of Manhole structures.
Emptying of liner debris (TRASH) out of reefer trucks into dumpster
Ability to do CDL Pre / Post CDL Inspections on Vehicles
Maintaining / Checking fluids in Boiler Trucks
Ability to maintain Temps and pressures while processing liners
Ability to use / learn how to operate power tools (Grinders, Sawzall, Etc.)
Hands on labor is expected
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience working in the construction field required
Ability to do CDL Pre / Post CDL inspections on vehicles
Valid Class B CDL License
Knowledge in confined space entry, CIPP Lining, and construction safety
Must have strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Possess a valid driver’s license with
