Schedule : MondayFriday8AM4 : 30PM.

AssignmentDuration : 13 weeks with potential forrenewal.

Compensation : $40.00$47.00 / hour DOE.

Atleast 1 year of clinical experience ispreferred.

Job Summary : We are seekinga skilled and compassionate Outpatient Pediatric Clinical Dietitianto join our pediatrics department.

As an Outpatient PediatricDietitian you will play a crucial role in providing specializednutritional care to pediatric patients.

You will work closely withthe healthcare team to assess plan implement and monitorindividualized nutrition interventions to promote optimal healthand growth for pediatric patients.

This position requires a deepunderstanding of pediatric nutrition and the ability to communicateeffectively with patients families and healthcareprofessionals.

Responsibilities :

• Conductcomprehensive nutritional assessments for pediatric patients toidentify their nutritional needs and determine appropriateinterventions.
• Develop and implementindividualized nutrition care plans based on the patients medicalcondition growth and development and dietarypreferences.
• Collaborate withphysicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to integratenutrition therapy into the overall treatmentplan.
• Provide nutrition educationand counseling to patients and their families on topics such asproper feeding techniques specialized diets and healthy lifestylehabits.
• Monitor and evaluate theeffectiveness of the nutrition care plan and make necessaryadjustments to ensure optimaloutcomes.
• Document patientassessments interventions and progress in the electronic medicalrecord system accurately and in a timelymanner.
• Stay up to date with thelatest research and guidelines in pediatric nutrition to provideevidencebased care.
• Participate inmultidisciplinary rounds and meetings to contribute to the patientscare plan and provide nutritionrelatedrecommendations.

Requirements :

• Bachelorsdegree in nutrition or dietetics. Masters degreepreferred.
• Registered DietitianNutritionist (RDN) credential from the Commission on DieteticRegistration (CDR).
• State licensureas a dietitian or eligibility to obtainlicensure.
• Minimum of 2 years ofclinical experience in pediatric nutrition. Inpatient experience isstrongly preferred.
• Knowledge ofpediatric nutrition guidelines growth and development and medicalnutrition therapy for common pediatricconditions.
• Strong communication andinterpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients familiesand healthcareprofessionals.
• Ability to work in afastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment while prioritizingtasks and managing timeefficiently.
• Proficiency in usingelectronic medical record systems and nutrition analysissoftware.
• Commitment to continuousprofessional development and staying updated with the latestadvancements in pediatricnutrition.

Requirements

One (1)year of work experience in a facility setting with clinicalresponsibilities or equivalent.
