STAT Resources is currently seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract position with our client in Pittsburgh, PA. Available Shifts : - 4 x 10's rotating every other weekend afternioon / evening- 4 x 10's, Monday - Thursday 9p-7a.
Position Summary : The primary responsibility of a CT Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patient's care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.
They will interact professionally and fully explain procedures, reduce patient anxiety and increase patient satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications : Deep familiarity with CT scan equipmentBasic knowledge of anatomy, biology and chemistry and how to administer IVsProblem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with CT scan equipment performanceObservational skills to notice any problems with imagesStrong oral communications skills to field patients' questions and collaborate with other members of the care teamOrganizational skills to maintain an orderly supply areaMathematics skills to assist with contrast administration and maintain inventoryComputer skills to operate CT scan equipment, use e-mail and update medical records using health information systems softwareRequirements : High School DiplomaARRT - (CT preferred)CPR / BLSPA Clearances (FBI and Child Abuse) STAT RESOURCES is the preferred medical staffing provider for facilities in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Delaware and New Jersey Areas.
