- What You’ll Do*
- Psychological Assessment and Testing comprehensive psychological diagnostic assessment to effectively measure and assess the functioning of each patient in areas specific to behavior, social skills, mood, affect, and cognitive processing.
Administration, interpretation, and documentation of psychodiagnostic assessments (e.g., BASC-3, WAIS-IV, WISC-IV, WIAT-III, Conners, CAARS, CPT-3, MCMI-IV)
- Diagnostic Summary through the biopsychosocial lens, systematically consider the patient's unique factors and their complex interactions for understanding the individual needs of each patient, produce an individualized and comprehensive diagnostic summary for each patient.
- Treatment Plan Utilizing MHCA’s multidisciplinary team, develop a comprehensive individualized strength-based treatment plan, designed to meet each individual where they are today in effort to support a better tomorrow.
Ultimately provide a collaborated, comprehensive, and holistic treatment plan for each patient.
- Psychotherapy - Through the biopsychosocial lens for patient conceptualization, therapists will provide evidence-based psychotherapy emphasizing strengths-based / solution-focused care.
- Work closely with clinical director to provide psychological services described above.
- Work closely with a team of interdisciplinary mental health providers.
- Patients are primarily 16-65, but you may be asked to see children, adolescents, and geriatrics.
- Work within our EHR system in accordance with MHCA’s record keeping guidelines.

- Must Haves*
- Valid and current License issued by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to work regularly scheduled work hours
- Represent MHCA in the health care community and the general public in a professional Manner
- Helps to Have *
- Therapy experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting.
- 1-5 years experience providing psychological services
- 2 -3 references from current and / or previous supervisors
- Ability to adapt responsibilities in support of the clinical development of a growing multidisciplinary mental health clinic.
- Compensation and Benefits *
- Salary $115,000 - $130,000+
