Virtual Sign Language Interpreter - Washington
VocoVision
VocoVision is looking for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter licensed in Washington to join our virtual network. If you are passionate about supporting students and have a strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), this role offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact.
Position Overview :
As a Virtual Sign Language Interpreter with VocoVision, you will provide real-time interpretation services to students, ensuring they have full access to educational content.
Youll collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students learning and communication needs in a fully virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide real-time ASL interpretation for students in various educational settings.
- Collaborate with educators to ensure effective communication for students.
- Support students academic and social-emotional development through clear interpretation.
- Adapt to different learning environments and student needs in a virtual format.
Requirements :
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
- EIPA score of 4.0 or higher.
- Valid Washington state interpreter certification.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and technical skills for virtual platforms.
