Description : We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Structural Fitter's Helper to join our dynamic team in the oil & gas sector.
In this role, you will support structural fitters in the assembly and fabrication of metal components essential for the construction and maintenance of oil & gas facilities.
Responsibilities :
- Assist structural fitters in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Support the cutting, grinding, and fitting of metal components to meet specified standards.
- Aid in measuring and marking materials for precise assembly.
- Help in the assembly and fitting of structural steel components using hand tools and welding equipment.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Handle and transport materials and equipment as necessary.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the oil & gas industry is preferred.
- Basic understanding of structural steel fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical strength and stamina for manual labor tasks.
- Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines at all times.
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Experience : 1 year of welding experience preferred
