Location : Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Shift : 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm

Hourly Rate : $19.50 / hr

Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team at our Cuyahoga Falls location. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments and verifying their contents.

Your primary goal will be to ensure accuracy in receiving and maintaining proper documentation of all incoming materials.

Responsibilities :

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.
• Inspect deliveries for damages and discrepancies; report and document any issues promptly.
• Sort, count, and label incoming goods and ensure they are stored in the designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate records of received shipments, including quantity, quality, and condition of goods.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to resolve any receiving issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards in the receiving area.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move goods as needed.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding receiving schedules and discrepancies.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience as a receiving clerk or similar position.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as operate material handling equipment safely.
• Knowledge of inventory management and basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.
