Responsibilities
Reports to : Production Manager Job Summary : To Meet the Packaging Warehouse Associate guidelines and Support the Production Planner
- Follow safety procedures and instructions to keep the warehouse running smoothly in accordance with all Food Safety, G,MP and SOP Guidelines
- Understand the job assignment and all SOPs involved
Be sure all packaging is here and readily available for the pack line
- Mark and label all containers.
- Measure, weigh and count products and materials
- Examine and inspect all incoming materials
- Drive sit down forklift or operate machines as trained and instructed
Maintenance : As Needed
- Clean and sweep while maintaining a neat and clean work area
- Maintain area free of clutter or hazardous spills
- Arrange and stock bags according to instructions
- Stack and organize supplies as requested
- Follow instructions for rest, rotation and proper lifting techniques
- Complete all company safety training
- Report to Production Planner any equipment or facility issues that may affect the safety of workers
- Treat co-workers and managers with respect
- Avoid use of foul language
- Respond to company request for information, attend meetings and trainings as requested
- Bring problems or issues to Shift Supervisor for resolution
- Notify Shift Supervisor of unplanned absence or tardiness prior to shift or as soon as possible
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaborate with all team members
- Follow instructions and ask for help when the task is not understood
- Follow all rotation, rest and safe lifting work routine
- Support Production Planner with special tasks, projects and assignments
- Follow safety procedures and take interest on helping others follow safety standards
- Handle equipment and machines with responsibility and care (If required to handle equipment or machines
Requirements : 1 - 2 Years of Forklift Experience within a Warehouse or Manufacturing setting
Starting Hourly Pay Rate : $15 / hr
