Compensation Range : $75,000 to $100,000 / year

FLSA Status : Exempt

Work Location : Warner Center, Fourth Floor, 332 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-2411

Schedule : 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday, Occasional Evenings and Weekends

Travel Required : Some travel may be required

The Opportunity :

Be part of a team striving to make a difference! The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh (ULGP), an organization dedicated to the economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights of African Americans and other underserved in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

As the Director of Finance , you will build and manage a fiscally sound organization. Leverage the systems, processes, and resources that enable the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh’s (ULGP’s) diverse and expanding workforce to grow and thrive.

Oversee the organization’s budget, investments, financial forecasting, analysis, purchasing, capital expenditures, payables, receivables, and tax and financial reporting for the organization.

Support the executive team with your knowledge base. Provide reports, and guidance to the Board of Directors and its committees on all financial-related matters.

Note : The Director also is responsible for hands-on in completing many of the daily responsibilities of the Department.

Requirements :

Bachler's degree AND 5 years’ experience

Education : Business Administration, Business Management, or related field required.

Experience : Managerial or related experience required. Pervious work experience with Blackbaud or Sage Intacct highly preferred.

Required Clearances, Licenses, and Certifications :

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are highly preferred.
• Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.
• Candidates must have proof of full COVID 19 vaccination status OR be willing to obtain the COVID vaccine OR provide an applicable medical / religious exemption prior to the first day of employment.
