PRIMARY FUNCTION :

The driver / warehouse assistant is responsible for providing materials, equipment, and supplies to the various jobs as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites as directed by others.
• Measures inventory levels by conducting physical counts.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse.
• Assist with taking orders.
• Inspecting deliveries received in the warehouse.
• Load merchandise.
• Read and interpret maps and GPS directions.
• Ensure inventory loads match shipping papers.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

• An understanding of construction terminology
• Minimum of 3 years job-related experience
• Organizational skills, detail oriented, efficient and reliable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Team Player, able to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to planned tasks or schedules changes
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to work 40 hours per week or more if required.
• Ability to lift and / or carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• It may require repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
• It may require prolonged periods of sitting while driving throughout workdays.
• Must provide a clean 5-year MVD record.
• Valid AZ driver’s license and proof of insurability are required when job duties require use of a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to obtain DOT.
• Requires exercising of discretion in the decision-making process and maintaining strict confidentiality with respect to customer, employee, and company proprietary-related information

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Warehouse experience : 1 year (Preferred)
