Summary : $15,000 New Hire Bonus
The Cath / IR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist and Interventional Radiologist for both coronary and interventional radiology procedures.
The technologist must have knowledge of the Philips X-ray equipment in use, XPER hemodynamic monitoring, EPIC / XPER charting, and coronary and peripheral anatomy.
The technologist assists with the following coronary procedures : Left and right heart catherization's, PTCA with possible stent, IABP, Impella, IVUS, FFR / IFR, thrombectomy, and pericardiocentesis.
The technologist also assists with the following Interventional Radiology procedures : Pain procedures, Kyphoplasty / Vertebroplasty, biopsies, drains, aspirations, urologic & biliary interventions, peripheral angiography, IVC filter placement / removal, tunneled / non-tunneled line procedures, thoracentesis and paracentesis.
Minimum Qualifications :

Knowledge of sterile technique. 1 yr in a hospital Interventional Radiology and / or Cardiac Cath Lab department.
