Job Summary

The Creative Services Manager will work closely with District Marketing and Communication leadership to develop and execute creative strategies that drive student engagement and enrollment growth.

In this position, the Creative Services Manager will oversee the creative direction and services for District Marketing's advertising, recruitment, and promotional materials.

This role involves developing creative materials, leading a team of designers, and collaborating with cross-functional and creative professionals to ensure all creative output aligns with the system's house of brands, which includes a portfolio of 11 distinct brands.

Essential Functions

50% - Design and Create : Develop, lead, and support the creation of innovative concepts and deliverables. Manage projects from conception to completion, providing graphic design services, and ensuring timely delivery.

Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and agencies as needed. Ensure all creative materials are consistent with the brand.

30% - Planning : Develop and implement creative strategies that align with MarComm's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders, leadership, and college teams to understand campaigns, initiatives, and project requirements, ensuring effective support for creative development.

20% - Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals. Provide guidance and constructive feedback to ensure high-quality creative output.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Assist with brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in marketing, public relations, communication, business, graphic design, or related field and at least two (2) years of experience providing journey level creative services management coordination.

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications

A. Five (5) or more years of experience in advertising and marketing, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across various media and multi-channel digital platforms.

B. Five (5)or more years of experience in design execution for campaigns, initiatives, and projects, with responsibility for producing creative assets across various media formats.

C. Five (5) or more years of experience in graphic design and utilizing creative design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with project management tools.

D. Five (5) or more years of experience managing a team, working with multi-level organizational leadership and cross-functional teams, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

E. Outstanding communication skills and experience in developing and editing high-quality written materials, including advertisements, client communications, and reports.

F. Master's Degree in a related field.

Working Conditions : Work is routinely performed in an indoor, office environment but may be required to be out in the elements as needed.

May require evenings or weekends.
